MY Martial Arts

The Cadet program is for kids aged 7-11 and is designed to give your child everything they need to thrive in life from physical fitness and confidence through to improved school work and respect for others. Our classes are loved by the students, parents and their teachers because we make them fun and encourage the children to grow into young responsible adults in a natural way.

All young parents of our young students will receive access to our digital 'homework' sheet once a month. The 'homework' form is designed to help both parents and teachers and help reinforce positive behaviour from simple hygiene like washing and brushing teeth regularly to completing school work and helping out around the house. Children of primary school age will be expected to get the behavioural seal of approval from their teacher and complete the check boxes at home with their parent(s). After all we wouldn't be doing our job right unless the children are giving you a helping hand!

Every child who trains with us is keen to get their next belt and regular gradings provide the incentive for each child to complete their form to the best of their abilities. We dont expect miracles so expect change to be gradual but we always make sure we are pushing your child in the right direction with positive reinforcement. Each parent will have their own reasons for wanting their child to get started in martial arts. These reasons range from confidence building to providing a physical outlet for frustrations and many more but we assure you we will always keep your goal in mind as your child thrives and grows.
